Pacific Silicon Sensor’s Avalanche Photodiode (APD) product line is comprised of devices enhanced for particular applications including spectral response and bandwidth frequency. Silicon APD’s are high speed, high sensitivity photodiodes with an internal gain mechanism and high bandwidth. APD’s are excellent for low light level measurements.

With spectral response optimized for 905nm,  the Series 8 Avalanche Photodiodedevices are designed for use in laser radar and laser range finder applications.  Features include fast rise time and higher NIR sensitivity, low temperature coefficient and high gain.
