Silicon APD’s are high speed, high sensitivity photodiodes with an internal gain mechanism and high bandwidth. APD’s are excellent for low light level measurements.

The Series 8 Avalanche Photodiode is ideal for use from 450nm to 950nm for general purpose distance measurement, laser scanner, high speed applications, optical fiber and communication.  Features include high speed, low temperature coefficient, and high gain.
