Pacific Silicon Sensor’s Avalanche Photodiode (APD) product line is comprised of devices enhanced for particular applications including spectral response and bandwidth frequency. Silicon APD’s are high speed, high sensitivity photodiodes with an internal gain mechanism and high bandwidth. APD’s are excellent for low light level measurements.

The Series 11 Avalanche Photodiode devices were designed for use with analytical instruments and scintillators. With excellent response in the “blue” region of the spectrum they offer response down to 360nm.
