Avalanche Photodiodes

Pacific Silicon Sensor’s Avalanche Photodiode (APD) product line is comprised of devices enhanced for particular applications including spectral response and bandwidth frequency. Silicon APD’s are high speed, high sensitivity photodiodes with an internal gain mechanism and high bandwidth. APD’s are excellent for low light level measurements.

With spectral response from 360nm to 1064nm and bandwidths of >2GHz, they are ideal for analytical instruments, optical communication, laser distance measurement and laser radar applications.
